This is a very thought provoking article by Bill McClelland. Bill is one of the most prominent St. Louis newspaper columnists. He, more than almost anyone else there, seems to have the pulse of the average St. Louisan.

"Eventually, law-abiding people got tired of the killing and the bribery. Prohibition was ended. In essence, we traded Al Capone for August Busch. So now, when there is a conflict about importation rights, we have an announcement from a vice president of marketing. Is it a perfect world now that booze is legal? No, it isn't. Some people become alcoholics. Some people drink and drive. But the question is not whether legalization has led to a perfect world, the question is whether society is better off with booze legal or with booze illegal. Cartels or corporations?"

Genious!..This picture explains alot about the story..the picture is showing two guys really guarding the outside of some money place which shows alot...makes me feel scared and maybe happy...happy because maybe it seems as if they could be guarding the place or maybe not..another injustice thing that this reminds me is of a bank robery or people guarding a place...one reason i disagree to this is that it maybe be scary second is scares customers?...and third could be that maybe you kill someone but later someone will find out where you are..one question i have, what's the reason to hold big and sc ary guns like that?...

This is an amazing website basically the same but the only one that i found...
I do not like the fact that I am seeing such protection like this outside a money order place. Why must there be such extreme measurements that are taken. Are we still not sivilized? Guess not. It makes me wonder what this world is coming to. I also think thet drunk driving is stupid too.
I think that the governments corporations are acting as drug smugglers bring drugs, weapons, and other illicit substances in and out of a country, may it be Mexico or Africa. The corporations arn't working for the people and the drugs being illegal isn't helping stopping anything
Interesting comments guys, thanks.
Hey, though, you guys need to watch the spell check! :-)
Kyle, I have heard that theory before. Where do you get those ideas?
Is there a link to a site where I could find some discussion about that? Or could you explain why you think this is true?
I think there are nothing else they can do besides having a guard with the firearm guarding that money world place. Things are getting worse around the world. "Eventually, law-abiding people got tired of the killing and the bribery. Prohibition was ended." By reading this quotes, it shows me how bad it is overthere. However i don't think it's necessary to have those guards stading infront of the place like that. People would be afriad to walk in that place or even just walking pass. I disagree to the idea of that even though it's the best idea to do. Secondary, i think they should be standing inside not right infront like that, and finally they should take off their mask becasue they look just like a terrorist like that. My question toward this topic is, is there a conflict going on in that country everyday?
"Analysts said the announcement was no surprise. In February, London-based SABMiller, the parent of Miller Brewing, bought the Dutch brewery that makes Grolsch. So it made no sense for Anheuser-Busch to use its considerable muscle to import a beer that is now owned by its chief rival." I felt this statenment was quite petty. I dont feel that anyone should stop selling things because they're owned by a rival company or country.
The blog was interesting.I say that make drug legal will help mexico, but make it worse in the U.S.
I think that there should be legal because all it is making the economy worse for all the rest of us
i think that even if alcohol was illegal it would still be distributed. it would be considered a drug like weed or any other thing you could get buzzed or high with.
